At-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status - EU-SILC survey

In 2021, Malta's at-risk-of poverty rate by most frequent activity status decreased by 1.4% compared to 2020, reaching 7.30.

Malta accounts for 82.0% of the EU-27 total of 8.90.

Malta ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.7% (from 5.90 in 2016).
