At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2011, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 13.1% compared to 2010, reaching 15.5%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Netherlands ranks 22nd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.8% (from 13.5% in 2006).
