At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 11.0% compared to 2009, reaching 13.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.1%.

Netherlands ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.5% (from 15.3% in 2005).
