At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 12.3% compared to 2013, reaching 11.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.7%.

Netherlands ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.3% (from 11.3% in 2009).
