At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2016, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 10.4% compared to 2015, reaching 12.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 18.2%.

Netherlands ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.4% (from 11.1% in 2011).
