At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2017, Netherlands's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.7% compared to 2016, reaching 13.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 17.5%.

Netherlands ranks 23rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 25.5% (from 10.6% in 2012).
