Early leavers from education and training by labour status

In 2025, Netherlands's early leavers from education and training by labour status increased by 5.7% compared to 2024, reaching 7.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 9.1%.

Netherlands ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.7% (from 7.0% in 2020).
