Population structure indicators at national level

In 2025, Netherlands's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.7% compared to 2024, reaching 35.5.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.7.

Netherlands ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.3% (from 33.1 in 2020).
