Population structure indicators at national level

In 2024, Netherlands's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.5% compared to 2023, reaching 34.9.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 37.0.

Netherlands ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.1% (from 32.6 in 2019).
