Income inequality for older people - EU-SILC survey

In 2025, Netherlands's income inequality for older people increased by 14.4% compared to 2024, reaching 6.50.

Netherlands accounts for 78.9% of the EU-27 total of 8.24.

Netherlands ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 8.7% (from 5.98 in 2020).
