At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2024, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 1.4% compared to 2023, reaching 13.8%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 16.2%.

Poland ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 10.4% (from 15.4% in 2019).
