At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2021, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 8.1% compared to 2020, reaching 14.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Poland ranks 21st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 30.8% (from 21.1% in 2016).
