At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2010, Poland's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.0% compared to 2009, reaching 17.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 15.7%.

Poland ranks 8th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 18.3% (from 21.3% in 2005).
