In 2018, Poland's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 7.6% compared to 2017, reaching 98,833.

Poland ranks 12th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 53.4% (from 212,143 in 2013).
