Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2018, Slovakia's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 15.1% compared to 2017, reaching 17,232.

Slovakia ranks 20th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 49.1% (from 33,872 in 2013).
