Life expectancy by age and sex

In 1998, Poland's life expectancy by age and sex increased by 0.6% compared to 1997, reaching 68.9.

Poland ranks 19th out of 25 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.5% (from 67.2 in 1993).
