Population structure indicators at national level

In 2006, Poland's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.5% compared to 2005, reaching 36.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.0.

Poland ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.7% (from 35.4 in 2001).
