Population structure indicators at national level

In 2006, Slovakia's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2005, reaching 35.7.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.0.

Slovakia ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.1% (from 34.3 in 2001).
