Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Poland's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 2007, reaching 37.3.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.6.

Poland ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.9% (from 35.9 in 2003).
