Population structure indicators at national level

In 2008, Lithuania's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.0% compared to 2007, reaching 39.6.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.6.

Lithuania ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.5% (from 37.2 in 2003).
