Police-recorded offences by offence category

In 2013, Portugal's police-recorded offences by offence category decreased by 7.2% compared to 2012, reaching 94,902.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 25.2% (from 126,956 in 2008).
