Cooling and heating degree days by country - annual data

In 2010, Portugal's cooling and heating degree days by country increased by 12.2% compared to 2009, reaching 1,338.

Portugal ranks 25th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has fallen by 2.8% (from 1,375 in 2005).
