Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Portugal's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.4% compared to 2006, reaching 14.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 13.3%.

Portugal ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 3.6% (from 13.9% in 2002).
