Population structure indicators at national level

In 1996, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 1995, reaching 36.2.

Portugal ranks 16th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.9% (from 34.5 in 1991).
