Population structure indicators at national level

In 2000, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 1999, reaching 37.5.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.5% (from 35.9 in 1995).
