Population structure indicators at national level

In 1999, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.8% compared to 1998, reaching 37.2.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.8% (from 35.5 in 1994).
