Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.1% compared to 2017, reaching 45.0.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 43.5.

Portugal ranks 4th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.6% (from 42.6 in 2013).
