Population structure indicators at national level

In 2018, Spain's population structure indicators at national level increased by 0.7% compared to 2017, reaching 43.5.

The figure is in line with the EU-27 average of 43.5.

Spain ranks 9th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.3% (from 41.3 in 2013).
