Population structure indicators at national level

In 2020, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.1% compared to 2019, reaching 45.9.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 43.9.

Portugal ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 5.3% (from 43.6 in 2015).
