Population structure indicators at national level

In 1998, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.6% compared to 1997, reaching 25.9.

Portugal ranks 7th out of 26 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 6.6% (from 24.3 in 1993).
