Population structure indicators at national level

In 2013, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 1.9% compared to 2012, reaching 32.3.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 29.0 in 2008).
