Population structure indicators at national level

In 2014, Portugal's population structure indicators at national level increased by 3.1% compared to 2013, reaching 33.3.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 30.8.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 13.3% (from 29.4 in 2009).
