Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2012, Portugal's main indicators increased by 3.8% compared to 2011, reaching 47.5%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 25.1%.

Portugal ranks 3rd out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 47.1% (from 32.3% in 2007).
