Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2012, Austria's main indicators increased by 1.0% compared to 2011, reaching 67.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 25.1%.

Austria ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 2.7% (from 65.7% in 2007).
