Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2011, Portugal's main indicators increased by 1.9% compared to 2010, reaching 24.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.5%.

Portugal ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 18.3% (from 20.8% in 2006).
