Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2010, Portugal's main indicators decreased by 1.0% compared to 2009, reaching 24.2%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 14.4%.

Portugal ranks 7th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 23.7% (from 19.5% in 2005).
