Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Portugal's main indicators increased by 11.0% compared to 2019, reaching 34.0%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 22.0%.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 11.4% (from 30.5% in 2015).
