Main indicators - share of renewable energy

In 2020, Portugal's main indicators increased by 6.7% compared to 2019, reaching 9.7%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 10.3%.

Portugal ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.5% (from 7.4% in 2015).
