Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2020, Portugal's main national accounts tax aggregates increased by 1.9% compared to 2019, reaching 37.3%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.9%.

Portugal ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.1% (from 36.9% in 2015).
