Final energy consumption in households by type of fuel

In 2021, Portugal's final energy consumption in households by type of fuel increased by 0.3% compared to 2020, reaching 3,023.

Portugal accounts for 1.2% of the EU-27 total of 262,365.

Portugal ranks 16th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 7.2% (from 2,819 in 2016).
