Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2006, Portugal's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 4.7% compared to 2005, reaching 13.4%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.9%.

Portugal ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 45.7% (from 9.2% in 2001).
