Population in private households by educational attainment level

In 2007, Portugal's population in private households by educational attainment level increased by 1.5% compared to 2006, reaching 13.6%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 22.4%.

Portugal ranks 24th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 44.7% (from 9.4% in 2002).
