Unemployment by sex and age - annual data

In 2014, Portugal's unemployment by sex and age decreased by 15.1% compared to 2013, reaching 14.6%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 11.0%.

Portugal ranks 5th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 30.4% (from 11.2% in 2009).
