At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2013, Romania's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 4.2% compared to 2012, reaching 34.7%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.

Romania ranks 1st out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 4.2% (from 33.3% in 2008).
