Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2007, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 1.4% compared to 2006, reaching 28.9%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 39.9%.

Romania ranks 27th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 1.4% (from 28.5% in 2002).
