Main national accounts tax aggregates

In 2016, Romania's main national accounts tax aggregates decreased by 3.6% compared to 2015, reaching 27.0%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 40.7%.

Romania ranks 26th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 0.4% (from 26.9% in 2011).
