In 2013, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 7.3% compared to 2012, reaching 20.3%.
The figure is below the EU-27 average of 20.7%.
Slovakia ranks 14th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 21.6% (from 16.7% in 2008).
