In 2013, Hungary's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.9% compared to 2012, reaching 23.8%.
The figure is above the EU-27 average of 20.7%.
Hungary ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.
Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.8% (from 19.7% in 2008).
