At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex

In 2014, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex decreased by 5.4% compared to 2013, reaching 19.2%.

The figure is below the EU-27 average of 21.4%.

Slovakia ranks 15th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the bottom half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 14.3% (from 16.8% in 2009).
