At-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex - EU-SILC and ECHP surveys

In 2025, Slovakia's at-risk-of-poverty rate by poverty threshold, age and sex increased by 3.0% compared to 2024, reaching 20.4%.

The figure is above the EU-27 average of 19.6%.

Slovakia ranks 10th out of 27 EU member states with reported data — in the top half of the distribution.

Over the past five years, the indicator has grown by 20.0% (from 17.0% in 2020).
